Cohezion was launched in 1999 by Tim Hall and Steve Hawkins. They had worked together at another ad agency and were dumb enough to think they could do it better. Their goal was fun, fast creative, backed by measurable results. They especially wanted to remove all the extraneous players in a typical ad agency (about 70% of the staff, most of whom worked in management or accounting). In 2000, Cohezion began working closely with a strategic agency, The Ostler Group, that specialized in marketing for Jiffy Lube franchisees. Soon they assumed virtually all creative, web marketing and production duties for The Ostler Group while continuing to grow their own client base among big players such as Novell, Ogio, Unishippers and Provisur.
In 2011, Steve purchased Tim's share of Cohezion and now operates as the sole owner. To this day, Cohezion's focus remains true to its original charter – fun, fast creative and proven marketing results for our clients.
